Methods of Payment

WALK-IN PAYMENT 

The Palmhurst Municipal Court accepts payments in the form of cash, money orders, or cashiers checks.

  • Payment by credit card will be accepted only for the full amount of the citationPayment is subject to a convenience fee of about $3 for every $100.
  • Personal checks will NOT be accepted.

 

ONLINE PAYMENT 

Online payment by credit card will be accepted only for the full amount of the citationPayment is subject to a convenience fee of about $3 for every $100www.go2gov.net/go/palmhurst 

  • Please call the court to obtain the full amount of citation.
  • You will need the citation number and total amount of fine to process payment.

 

MAIL-IN PAYMENT

Payments through mail will be accepted in the form of  money orders or cashiers checks only. Do not send cash.

  • Fill in the information contained on the back of the citation or a copy of the citation and send with payment.
  • If you do not have the citation, please provide name, citation number, date of birth, and how you wish to plea.

 

The Palmhurst Municipal Court does not handle the payments of citations through the phone.

 

 ALTERNATIVE FORMS OF PAYMENTS 

EXTENSIONS

You may be able to request an extension of time to pay, but you must get permission from the court first. Please contact the court for eligibility and instructions. Extensions cannot be requested over the phone

  • Extensions are granted for a period not to exceed 30 days.
  • After the 30 days, a $25 late fee will be assessed.
  • Failing to abide by extension agreement, will null the extension and the citation is subject to warrant status.

 

PAYMENT PLANS

You may be able to arrange for monthly payments, but you must get permission from the court first. Please contact the court for eligibility and instructions.

  • A $15 payment fee will be added to all payment plans.
  • Late payments will result in a $25 late fee per violation on the payment plan.
  • Failing to abide by the payment plan, will null the arrangement and the citation is subject to warrant status.

 

COMMUNITY SERVICE

You may be able to work for the city or a non-profit organization to get credit toward your fines but you must get permission from the court. Please contact the court for eligibility and instructions

  • Certain violations are not eligible for community service.
  • Community Service is not an acceptable form of payment for Driver Safety Course (DSC) or Deferred Disposition.
