Brush Disposal Options for Palmhurst Residents
Palmhurst residents have two convenient ways to dispose of brush: through the McAllen Recycling Centers with a City-issued permit or through monthly Allied Waste pick-up.
1. McAllen Recycling Center Disposal
Brush permits are available at Palmhurst City Hall.
To receive a permit, please provide:

Resident name, address, and phone number

Name of the person delivering the brush

Vehicle information: year, make, model, and license plate number
Brush may be delivered to one of the McAllen Recycling Center locations below:
Truck Beds Only

Note: The Bentsen Road location does not accept trailers. Trailers must use the 29th Street location.
Important:
This service is free for Palmhurst residents with proper identification.
Contractors will be charged $1 per cubic yard.
2. Allied Waste Monthly Brush Pick-Up
Residents receiving garbage service through Allied Waste also receive one monthly brush and bulky-item pick-up.
Set-Out Guidelines

Place items in front of your home only.

Set items out the weekend before your scheduled pick-up week.

Do not place items where they block visibility for motorists or in the right-of-way.

Items placed on vacant lots will not be collected.
Reminder: Leaving items on a vacant lot may result in an illegal dumping fine.
