The City of Palmhurst has two methods of brush disposal:

McALLEN RECYCLING CENTER 

Brush permits are issued at the Palmhurst City Hall. To obtain a brush permit, please provide the following:

• Residents Name, Address, & Phone Number
• Name of person to deliver brush
• Year/Make/Model & License Plate No. of vehicle delivering brush

Brush can be disposed of at the two McAllen Recycling Center locations listed below.

• For Truck Beds:

  Saturday 8:00 am – 12:00 pm

  Closed Saturday

The Bentsen location will not accept vehicles with attached trailers; they will be redirected to the 29th Street location.

Important Notice: This service is provided free of charge to City of Palmhurst Residents ONLY. Any person contracted to remove such brush and deliver it to the McAllen Recycling Center will be charged $1 per cubic yard. Identification is required upon delivery.

ALLIED WASTE CUSTOMERS

Brush pick-up is provided to you once a month included with your garbage collection services.

Important Guidelines:

• Brush/Bulky items must be placed in front of home
• Items must be set out the weekend prior to scheduled collection week.
• Items must NOT obstruct the view for motorists and cannot be placed in right of way.
• Items left on vacant lot will NOT be picked up. *

*Disposing of items on vacant lot is cause for illegal dumping fine.
