Garage Sale Permits

Garage sale permits are available at Palmhurst City Hall.

• Permit Fee: $10.00 per day

• Proof of Residency: Applicants must provide one (1) of the following:

  • Warranty Deed
  • Driver License
  • Current Water Bill
• Permit Duration: Up to two (2) consecutive days. Garage sales may not be held on back-to-back weeks.
• Permit Limit: Each household may obtain up to four (4) permits per calendar year.
• Hours of Operation: Garage sales may only be conducted during daylight hours.
• Garage Sale Signs: Yard signs are permitted, provided they are placed within the property lines. Garage sale signs placed in the public right-of-way, on utility poles, or on traffic signs are prohibited. Any such signs will be removed by the Palmhurst Police Department and will not be returned.
